The church of the Virgin
Mary «Laoutsanissa» a short distance from the town. The screen and pulpit
were carved by the famous sculptor Yiannis Chalepas and his son.
The
folklore Museum at Kimi

The place «Choneftiko»,
north of the town where there is a fountain with drinking water.
The monastery of «the
transfiguration of Christ» six kilometres from Kimi in a thickly wooded
area with a unique view of the Agean sea.
The Cathedral of Saint
Athanasios. The hamlets of Kavochili and Soutsini not far from Kimi.

In the Village of Oxilithos
there are the Byzantine Churches of Saint Nicholas, Saint Anna, and
the «Assumption of the Virgin Mary». All three are cruciform and belong
to the 13th and 14th century.
The Folklore Museum
which housed in a two storey Neo classical building donated by the National
Bank. The exhibits are from 1800 to 1930. The museum includes traditional
custumes, fine silks from Kimi, embroidery, prints and manuscripts.
