church of Saint Dimitrius |
The church of «the assumpation
of the Virgin Mary» (Panayitsa), a small vaulted church built in a rock
in the centre of Aliveri with fine murals.
In the area of Katakalou
there is a domed mikinaiko tomb a miniature of the tomb at Mikines.
There is also the «Red» church of Saint Dimitrius which is built with
red stone and pillars. It has many fine early Byzantine murals.
